foglight and silent indicators?

right, as the title says, when i indicate, the fog light light comes on, and as soon as i brake, the indicating "ticking" sound just goes silent...?

erm, im not too sure whats happening to my clio, anyone got advice?

ive tried spraying wd40 in the connections but its gotten worse..

You need to clean the rear light cluster connections with a small wire brush really, sometimes a toothbrush does the job. If its got bad and been left, it can damage the circuit boards clipped into the clusters beyond repair. While your there you'll see the earth strap going to the chassis make sure its corrosion free aswell.
