Is it just as simple as taking the bolts out the lights, unplugging the wires, unscrew old bulb, screw in new bulb.

or do i have to remove the front bumper or anything else?

Unscrew old bulb, screw in new bulb.

Thats it.

dude they are lightbulbs :L

cap off, twist holder, twist bulb out and reverse

for the rear there is a bolt in the boot at the back of the light (looks like a triangle), unscrew that and the fixing will come off
unclip the holder and unscrew the bulb

Ah 1.2 as well, you should have no bother with the space in the engine bay.
