First ever detail using me DA!

  Clio 1.5 dci
Strange order to do things in but ill summarise first... WOW, what a piece of kit, the results i got today have blown me away! but ill let the photos do the explaining!

the method

.rinse and go over intricate areas with a detailing brush
.wash with AG shampoo
.ValetPRO tar remover
.Iron X
.Dodo juice medium clay with born sloppy lube
.dry with Dodo juice towel
.polish certain areas with menzerna power finish (2500)
.glaze with Prima Amigo
.wax with DoDo juice diamond white hard wax
.trims with Back to Black (rubbish product need some AF Revive!)
.tyres with AG tyre dressing
.glass with AG glass polish

OH and the DA I was using was Meguiar’s G220v2

the actual wheels were cleaned the day before to save time!

well some before photos...

as some people know my car used to be a driving instructors car so it was COVERED in very deep scratches from hedges, walls, etc the arches being the worst.

Thank you for looking C&C welcome, and if anyone has any advice to give me about changing my method or products please to say so as I'm all ears as i want to learn!

I bet you're chuffed with the results :)

Touch in the bad spots carefully with a paint touch up kit on the primer spots, edge of the doors etc and it will finish it off well.

I got some paint mixed up at halfords a while ago to do the letting on my bullets and it's quite a good match to be fair so I'll use that!

Good job mate, I've got pretty much the same damage as you had on your drivers side rear arch and I didn't think a polish would help it much tbh but you've now convinced me that I need a DA when I can afford one.

I'm quite a fan of them if I'm honest, quite like the polished lip in photos like the car park ones, but they are not to everyone's taste. If I had to change turinis would be next but I'm not planning on changing at the moment, 172 front and rear bumpers to come next then some carbon fibre fog surrounds and splitter I think

Meh, i got my front bumper resprayed because i thought the scuuffs would never come out with a polisher, i was obviously wrong!

Nice work but i also think your wheels look 'cheap'... and not OEM.

  Clio 1.5 dci
Not OEM I know, but in my eyes there are other things that are more influential to the cars look to be changed first, but at some stage they will defiantly be changed!

  Clio 1.5 dci
i'll take that half compliment as i know they arnt to taste but i can't complain got them for free brand new! with new rubber too! :D

  Clio 1.5 dci
Cheers mate, yeah they are a bit of a pain but I've got a few different brushes that work really well on them so it's ok. :)
