Details above, I think its a fantastic technology, fiat have made a massive turnaround. Im test driving one later this week, I ve heard one already -sounds like the original!
I think its going to be a massive hit, why an earth would you buy a smart?

Highlights:
900cc twin cylinder turbo,
85 hp/ 145/nm of torque (105hp variant on the way)
Road tax exempt!
London congestion charge exempt
69 mpg
Its not a diesel!
Multiair technology:
It uses electro-hydraulic control of the inlet valves, rather than a conventional camshaft, to manage the amount of air entering the engine.
 
While the thought of driving something with a feeble sub 100bhp output makes me want to self harm I like the idea. My hatred for hybrid battery/IC "eco" cars is huge ultimately I don't see it as a sustainable viable nor particularly green technology. Something like this is a better solution until we get hydrogen powered cars or similar.
