Engine hanger - Knock Sorted

  Clio 197

I for one, was fed-up being told by an RTE that theres nothing wrong with the top engine hanger (despite a 10mm gap, and baltently worn rubber).

So I decided to try to sort it:

1) I dabbed a bit of copper grease in the gap (to stop the rubber wearing down further, although I dont know what effect it will have on the rubber itself).

2) I used a modified spring compressor, to compress the metal housing inwards.

Result?

Far Less Movement! Previously, I could move the engine around with one hand... now its far more rigid (but still has movement).
