Electrical gremlins- Immobiliser

Trying to diagnose my current problem, not sure if the UCH is knackered or it's something more simple. Basically my 172 has been fine up until now, jumped in it this morning, went to start and.....nothing. Noticed the immob. light is solid red when trying to start. Once it did fire and then died and since then nothing with a solid light. Also completely randomly sometimes the dash lights and climate control screen will stay on even when the key is out, opening and closing the door turns them off. I've checked the battery and fuses all reading 12.55/56, had all the relays in the engine bay out and cleaned them, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Not sure if it's relevant but there's a toad alarm installed but it seems redundant as there's no key fob for it and none of the security features seem any different to my other 172. So not sure if the toad alarm has gone wayward and messed up the immobiliser? I got a video just to show what's going on

Also, all the lights, windows etc work. It's going to a ren specialist round the corner from me that Nick at PMS recommended (handy as I didn't know there were any decent renault garages near me). But just wanted to try and get an idea of what's going on before it goes in.

After reading tonnes of threads on similar problems, this one seems to be identical to my problem:

So on the advice given in the thread I've stripped the trunking and tape off the loom from the ecu right down to where it branches off and then a bit further up where the loom goes underneath the battery, couldn't see any breaks in the twisted wires or any others, so started looking at the fuses and relays with a multimeter, all of them came back fine except the ones outlined in the pic below. The two relays and the blue fuse were reading 0. Checked underneath both and couldn't see and loose wires or breaks. Really stumped now :(

Also, just done the dash fault trick and when I did it the first time the immob. light went off, but continued to come on and stay on every time after. One letter keeps coming up which is T which I believe is something to do with the injectors?

It's becoming a pain in the arse. Love RS Clios so much but they don't half test my patience.

Well folks it's solved. The heavens opened and our Lord spoke to me and told me "check the gearbox earth strap again" and low and behold, a very loose strap. Tightened it up and fired up straight away 3 times in a row. What a tit

What a relief for you. Thats the sort of thing that makes you hate the car so glad its sorted.
