Drove through puddle, making funny noises!

Hi all,

didnt notice a puddle on the way in to work this morning and realised that it was deeper than i thought!

now the engine is still running (touch wood) but i di notice a really low grumbling noice when i reversed, and at low speed, but it goes away when i got above 30,

im just worried incase water has gone into my engine,

any help?

Might have filled a CV boot up with water maybe?....

If you'd got water into the engine it would have locked it up solid. Hydrostatic lock FTL!!
