Door Locking on my Clio 172

Hi everyone,

My name is Bill. I am a new member from Hong Kong. Do have a question on my black Clio 172.

I use my remote control key to lock my Clios door. But I found that I can still open the driver side door (even the red door light is on), as only the passenger side door is locked. So I insert the key into the driver side door and turn to lock. Then I unlock the doors by the remote control, it works. I then lock by the remote control and it works too!

But if I opened the door and close, the locking fuction will not work by the remote control key on the driver side.

Does anyone has similar problem???

Id say you have a trip to Renault coming up.

Sounds like the lockoing solonoid is bust take it to Renault to check though.
