After some advice if you can help, I've searched on here for and answer already. Recently bought a Clio 200 with 36k on the clock, The gearbox started to crunch the week after I bought it... so it went back to the dealer for a 'box rebuild. I had noticed some ticking 'tappet' noises coming from gentle accelerating between 2-4k so while they were working on the gearbox I got them to do the clutch, belts and dephaser.
Now I still have that same 'tappet' noise under acceleration between 2-4k (cant hear it after the cam change), I've checked the oil level so many times to make sure its all fine and everything is correct. What do you think this could be? a faulty Dephaser from new?
