cylinder head????

i got a 1.6 16v v reg mk2 first phase clio, an i know most of u wil say get a 2.0l conversion, but i have to keep it 1.6 for certain reasons. i jus want info on whats the best cylinder head to fit tho, to make it perform better? can i fit the 2.0l 172 cylinder head on, or will it change anything by doing so?

No, the bore spacings are diff on the 2.0.

The head you have is perfectly fine, there is enough valve area and once modified it'll provide all you need.
