hi guys, recently got myself a cup spoiler, I was wondering if there is an easy way of checking the high-level light works before fitting it, as I imagine to replace the light you need to remove the spoiler from the car?

I would as they are fragile. I'd say the only way to check to see if it works is to remove your own spoiler and connect it up
Ahh okay, i thought maybe the plug and wire that comes out the bottom was directly connected to the light and would need moved as a whole - good to know that's not the case!
I suppose when I hook it up i'll find out as you said, if it works great, if not, it's only what, 25 quid for a new one?

Nah it's a connector, luckily not hard wired. Does your cup spoiler have the little wiring adaptor with it?

On the underside it has a black cylindrical plug with 2 prongs? That's it though.

This looks like absolute mad craic.
If you want to remove the light from the spoiler, just use a screwdriver to push it from the underside of the spoiler and it should pop out.
