Creaking noise from front - intermittent

Anyone had any experience with a creaking noise coming from the front, think it is suspension related.

It does it rarely, for example I was turning around last week, went over a speed bump whilst turning and it creaked whilst I pulled over the bump. Have heard it once or twice before, always when pulling away or crawling at very low speed and turning.

Any ideas appreciated

Maybe ball joints.mine sounded like a creaking old boat

It's hard to say. I had similar on the Trophy and changed wishbones/ball joints/track rod ends. The noise went, but unfortunately I can't tell you what part solved it! I'd recommend giving all those a refresh anyway, best thing I ever did to that car.

Another possibility could be top mounts.

Sounded like the same thing i was having.Was driving me mad !

Have just changed the wishbone bushes,inner and outer anti roll bar bushes,ball joints and track rod ends.

The noise is completely gone but not sure what part was causing it.

All these cars are at an age now where all this stuff needs changing, makes a big difference.
