Welcome to the site mate, others will be better placed to answer your question, but from what I have heard the general parts are quite expensive...

They are not too bad really, i think you just have to be sensible and accept that they are quite thirsty on fuel, tyres cost a bit, and so does a cambelt change!

Routine servicing is no more expensive than a 1*2, so really they don't cost too much to run. I think it all depends if you plan on using it as a daily, or just a weekend car.
