Clio rear demister

Loosing the will to live on this - rear demister not working - power to switch, power across fuse - power across relay - no power ocros element on window - no power at window - continuity through element and to earth - where do the wires run - in the roof or inder the carper, and where from. Can it be bypassed at all with a seperate wire from the fusebox??

Check the earthing connection point for the rear light etc its on the passenger side in the boot behind the linning.

the wires run down the passnger side of the car by the door then round the side of the rear seats passenger side agians and then up to the boot.

Check the big fat white wire for breaks or corrosion on connection r2. Its located under the sill trim in the passenger footwell.

Also pull the connector apart and check for broken pins or water etc.
