Clio Dynamqiue 1.2.. engine electrical falut

hello all, my girlfriend phoned me tonight saying that the car was running funny. It has the engine managment light on and its ticking over below 1k rpm, sounds very loud like a tank! and running very lumpy very low on power..

any ideas people, its going to the auto electrician tommorow just wondered what i should be expecting!

id say it was the coilpack. With the car switched on, one by one unplug the pencil coils. if the car doesnt struggle when one is pulled out, youl know its faulty.

Its a 1.2. no pencil coils there

I'll try that tommorow.. Unplug from the coilpack not the spark plugs yar?

did they even make non 16v dynamiques?? not sure how a 1.2s wired then.......lol

i took mine off from the plug, let us kno how it goes anyway, may jus be a dodgy lead!
