Have tryed to do a search and a cant find anything am just wanting to know will standard 172 springs fit a cup 172? And if so will it affect the height and handling or anythibg before a buy these springs. Thanks

Yes they shall fit and iirc height will be affected by around 3mm so they will sit a tad higher and tbh you won't notice

The answer is yes to all your questions.

I honestly don't understand why you would want to put standard spring on a cup.

Cup springs or Sportlines would be my choice.

If you are getting them seriously cheap and in good condition with low miles yes

Otherwise just get sportlines as Emma said above.
