Clio 172 cup daily

My first ever french car im From a ford family my dad wont speak to me now haha been after a car for a while now to use as a daily just to get me to work and back while i build my fiesta zetec s never thought id end up buying this clio but my mate was selling it and i couldnt let her go ive done a fair bit of work on the car for him, the car cost me £2200 with 41,000 miles on clock, 12 months mot and 6 months tax also its had a new cambelt, front bushes both sides, hazard switch, new standard cat back, 4 new tires, new rear wheel bearings both sides, apex lowering springs (fitted by me), cone filter which sounds unreal, gunmetal turinis, carbon vinyl renault badges, renault mud flaps, plans are diffrent steering wheel deepdish one as i really dont like the standard steering wheel and also the main thing i feel that lets the car down is how the exhaust is hid behind the rear seen other clios with twin pipes looks so much better so anway heres some picks of her at the moment and also some of my zs which i know you will probably all hate haha

nice mate just got hold of a cup myself, not had a chance to drive it far yet but first impressions are I like it lol. big ford fan, what happening with the zs?

I know everyone keeps telling me to get rid of fiesta but i started building it in memory of my grandad so ive got to finish it i know it might not look much but me and my dad have spent alot of time and money on her it just needs engine sorting its had cams etc but had nightmares tryna get it mapped to suit so im hopefully fitting omex throttle bodies should get about 170bhp with everything when finished plus a cage etc basicaly making it into a track car

Gave the car a clean polish and wax and used back to black on plastics also removed sound insulation on bonnet and fitted blue hoses for washer jets and also repolished the inlet, Plans so far are sort headlights out as they are quite bad and have loads of tiny crack on both, a kode deep dish steering wheel and possibly a harness, painting the inlet black and a ktec induction kit in black currently got a cheap s**tty halfords filter on from previous owner still sounds ace never heard an engine sound like these engines do

Quick update restored headlights as they were really bad look brand new now, also started painting inlet was thinking of going blue but black looks really smart just need to wait for paint to dry so i can polish the renault sport logo. Also painted the bullets black look alot better than silver. Gonna order some stuff from k tec tonight aswell: new oil,spark plugs,oil filter and their induction kit cos i have a crappy halfords cone filter on from last owner.

More painting and polishing today and changed spark plugs, oil filter and oil

Been sorting out a couple of small jobs Removed acoustic valve, reatached a couple of screws on the splitter and also dismantled and greased up things such as suspenion bolts, wishbone bolts and brakes just to save hastle in the future
