Chipping / RS Tuner Map

  Fiesta ST2 MP215
Morning Guys,

Discussion at work started already.

What is the difference between getting your Clio Chipped, such as Superchips for £199 for a supposed 10BHP gain and better economy ( no torque ), and something like the RS tuner maps which are roughly the same cost?

Has anyone used Superchips on a NA car, I have on a Derv and it made it sooooooo much better ( Shi*troen Xsara HDI 110 slayed an A3 2.0 TDI ) but never known anyone to have used on NA motors.

Any input appreciated, reason for asking if they are the same thing then Superchips seems the logical choice as they warrant the work for the same cost?

Danke.

They are the same thing. Superchips are just an "out of the box" remap that is uploaded to your car via a handset which is the same as the RSTuner. Personally id go RSTuner if i had your choice. The problem with Superchips is their handset becomes locked to your car and worthless to everyone else so If you decided to sell it down the line you are stuck with a rather expensive paperweight.

Also ignore any quoted BHP gains as every car is different.
