I've just bought one of these to start me off, getting some great shots during daylight, can anyone share any tips on night time shooting as I've taken a handful and all are awful, a friend mentioned shutter speed and tri-pod will help :dapprove:

yes long exposure the darker the longer really, a tripod is a definate for night shots or else it will just turn out blurry if you are holding it in youre hand with a long exposure.

Tripod! And read the guides on here. If you want to shoot low light by hand you will need a better flash set up unfortunately, my 450d flash is tiny and can barely light a close up face lol!!
