Can someone help me with my new head unit please?

So I just bought a Pioneer DEH-4500BT head unit and I've connected it all up apart from the aerial because I don't get how this works here. How picture 1 fits picture 2. I bought an ISO to DIN adapter for the sake of it when I ordered the radio but the female end of that doesn't fit the aerial of the car. So I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated guys.

Yeah bought this with it... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004TW7WAQ/?tag=cliospnet01-21 It is the same thing isn't it? It seems the actual aerial connector of the car is too large for the female bit of this adapter.

I ordered another one because I lost the other adapter down the seat so thought it wasn't worth it for a £1 and now it's working anyway, not sure if it was too snug of a fit or what but thanks
