Can I bypass the...........

......rear brake compensator on my cup ?

I know the cup models dont have the compensators connected to the rear beam but its still there. But is the unit its self set at a pre set level ???? . So just wondered if can i just by pass the box with a straight throught lines and would it change anything regarding brake power to the rear????

No is the simple answer. If you bypass it you'll end up with full braking effort going to the rear. The compensator valve is set to a preset value to stop this happening.

Nice simple answer . Cool. Im guessin its pre set with the nut n bolt thats hold the lever down onto the 2 pistons that go into the unit under the rubber boot

Just buy a generic bias valve if you want to get rid of it but the cup valve does the job fine.
