The other day a part of the switch had slightly broken so I went out to superglue the broken part. Turns out I ended up supergluing the switch into place 
so for the past few days I have had no brake lights working, being very careful driving the only way I could alert other drivers of my stopping was to use the rear fog lits when braking... not the most ideal, but its what I have.. the new part came today and its all working fine... so just remembr dont be as stupid as I was and superglue your switch into place :/
