Broadband Capping

At the moment i have sky broadband and i can honestly say its a load of sh*t. In the morning its quite fast but not up to the local standards i have checked. In the evening though it slows down to 0.5meg which is terrible. I'm meant to get 7-8meg. Sky are obviously capping my broadband after 6pm till around 12pm which i find totally unacceptable.
Does anyone have broadband that does not get capped in peak times?

That will happen
anyone else using Sky in your area will be getting roughly the same.

ISP's will limit speeds just so that everyone on their exchange can get SOMETHING. If they didn't then the kids up the road closer to the green box, downloading jls and playng farmville will stop you even getting that 1/2 meg

im on sky and in 3 years ive been using their broadband they have never capped it.

i never get a drop in peak hours either.
