BMW 330CI Sapphire Black

  Megane 225
Following on from my many questions last month about how best to polish my badly swirled BMW, I eventually got round to posting up a few pics of the finished result. Took around 3 days in total to get to this stage as the paint was a mess to begin with.

No before pics, but here's the process I used!

Rinse and snow foam.
Wash using duragloss and 2 bucket with dodo supernatural mitt
Dried and clayed.
Washed again.
Wet sand to remove most of the orange peel. 1500, 2000, then 3000
Washed a third time.
Dried using sonus towel ready for polishing.
Polished using 3m fast cut on green 3m pad.
Polished using menz intensive on LCC White pad.
Polished with Menz final finish on LCC Black pad.
Wipe down with isopropanol.
Sealed using Jet seal.
Waxed with Swissvax Onyx.
Wheels off and cleaned using megs apc. Waxed with rim wax.
Arches cleaned with apc then dressed with ag bumper care.
Glass cleaned with ag polish the waxed with Onyx.
Leather cleaned using apc then conditioned with gliptone.
Dash cleaned using apc the dressed with ag vinyl care.

Here's the finished result:

How did wet sanding your entire car feel ? :D

Not 2 bad. My Bro has a bodyshop so I've seen it done loads of times. I think I'd have paniced tho when I saw how dull it was before I polished it if I wasn't used to it! Lol
