Black on Track?

  Clio 182
I've read a few mixed opinions on Powerflex bushes but I've not really read much on their black series.

I don't care about comfort and vibrations as I've heard as some negatives towards them as my car is purely for track days. I'm just interested if anyone has put the black series into their track car and what they thought about the handling improvements over other options.

There doesn't appear to be much wrong with my bushes at the minute but I'm just trying to decide on what winter improvements to make and bushes seemed to be a good idea but reading around I'm wondering whether the money and all the work will be worth it.

any opinions are welcome.

I uprated mine on my old escort gt I and it was possibly the best thing I ever done to it. I don't have experience with the black ones but the purple ones I got were fantastic! The car felt so precise after geo setup and never changed in the last 18 months I had it. That was after 2pairs of lower arms in 6 months lol. I had Koni springs and gas dampers over the standard ford oil dampers and springs. The poly urethane has nowhere near as much flex as the standard rubber.

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard similar stories from people who own other cars but I haven't read anything amazing with them fitted to Clios. It just looks like a big job and it is a fair amount of money so I don't want to bother doing it if it isn't going to make a decent improvement.
