Battery tray/gearbox mount upgrade?

  Chloe the Clio (182)
Don't suppose anyone here can give me a link or a head up where to get a upgraded battery tray? I bought a 182 had a knocking noise replaced this bracket but its just broken again when I was driving a bit adventurous today. Also is there a actual kit to relocate battery to boot.

A long piece of 0awg cable, a short piece for the earth and some ring terminals is all you'd need and something to hold the battery down in the boot. Although I'd personally want to use a sealed audio battery if its in the cabin as the gasses coming off aren't great.

What have you done to break the battery tray? Any pics? In all my years of clioing I've never broke one

Yeah I'll try and attach the pictures of the battery tray. I have came to the conclusion that the rod that come out of the gearbox mount is slack and isn't suppose to be. I was driving it a bit hard. There is a captive nut missing from the chassis that holds this on. But I thought it might have been fine with the other 3 obviously not. Yeah for the battery I was just planning on welding up a bracket to fit into the boot and bolt on with a couple of rubber grommets to save water getting in.

@hipwell I can't figure out how to upload a image on my phone when I get onto the computer I'll send some through. It's the lugs one beside the battery at the top and the bottom one at front and back that have snapped off.

Have you got the clamp in place to stop the battery rocking around under hard driving/crash?

Sorry I didn't get back. Yeah battery was secure etc. I was speaking to my mate and he has advised me to get another tray and the mounting that is on top of the box. So that's my next move. But it'll be pushed to the side right now as my mate 182 just jumped the timing and has broke a few rockers I suspect. :/

Thanks @hipwell
