Back in a renault.. this time its a LY R26!

Hi all, its been a while,

I was on the forum a few year back with a 1.2 clio some of you may remember (pictures at end of post)

I have now returned to the Renault group in the form of a LY R26.

It has 31k on the clock on a 57 plate and 2 previous owners.

I absolutley love it and have already spent a fortune on mods in the month i have owned it, and booked it into RS Tuning for stage 2 in 3 weeks (a 620 mile round trip i may add!)

Spec so far is:

Ktec 90mm FMIC
Forge Boost hoses and Hard pipes
Forge DV
Ktec Blanking Plate
ITG Panel Filter
Airbox Mod
Samco Intake hose
AndrewJeffs short shifter
Pioneer Double Din Screen
Scanguage

I also have a RST 3" Sports Cat to go on and a prototype Yozza to go on too which will hopefully be on soon.

Anyway less talk and more photos!

Im loving it! It amazes me every time im in it, stage 2 is just gonna top it off for me, iv been talking myself out getting a hybrid for a while have to keep resisting the urgw to give in haha!

The clio is long gone, yeah weather up in dundee is quite rubbish haha! With the mods il have and 630cc injectors I should hopefully see about 280hp and have to limit torque to 300lbft so I dont bend rods and chew dmf!

I'm at stage 1 can you tell me the cost to go for stage 2??

200 plus vat I think to upgrade if you got stage 1 with rst already, I got in on a group buy so im only gonna be £414 for stage 2 and 360 for my injectors fitted and mapped

Cost of fmic, 3" down pipe and exhaust is the usual requirements for turbo'd engines. Ie better breathing.

I was 520 for fmic, 140 for boost hoses, 50 for itg, 78 for samco, 90 for dv, 25 for blanking plate, 396 for sports cat, 290 for catback, 360 for injectors mapped in and 414 for stage 2! Cant wait like!

Oh and 65 for short shifter, a must have!! Andrewjeffs work is amazing! The airbox mod is free and changes the Induction noise and has seen proven gains

Was down at rstuning today, went down last night and stayed the night, won 600 at the casino next door so my mapping and injectors were almost free!! Made 280bhp and a little over 300lbft
