back box pipe sitting on rear axle a little bit ???

so iv fitting a back box to my car today but when i lowered it off the axle stands it seems to be just touching the rear axle any ideas what i can do to raise it off it without have to get it all off again and maybe bend the pipe more ?

really u need it on a ramp, loosen the join near it and re align it and tighten it up, prolly possible on axle stands

mine had a front colllar too so you could move full system back n forth a couple of cm.

is the car on standard suspension

no its on coilovers but at the rear its shocks and springs with adjusters and yeh what i think i may have to do is pull it back a little the only thing is the exhaust tail pipe will be sticking out too much for my liking
