aux belt... without the kit. 172

just had my aux belt changed but didnt have the kit.

many people do this or does everyone plop for the pullies etc?

most people go for the tensioner too as it is recommended to be changed.
 
  Dodgy one
I never bothered, Simply because there was no play in them, they felt fine, I dont use my car very often and it was all getting replaced 6 or so months afterwards
 
  Lots of Alfas
It should be changed, the lower idlers are a bit exposed to the elements, they can fail and can cause belt snaps. The bearing in the tensioner can also go and the plastic can go brittle.
