Any tips driveshaft change

  Clio Sport 172
Hi I'm new to this site and to the clio scene but got a 172 and love it!! Unfortunately steering felt funny so jacks it up and I found the inner boot on the driveshaft ( off side) us split. So the driveshaft is getting changed as it's easier and quicker than faffing in stretching the new boot on. Any tips advice bout clio driveshaft replacement? Cheers

Carl is very good mate, helpful etc. Looks after my car, talks me out of selling it, talks me out of buying needless stuff.

So yeah pretty decent mate :)

Remove centre cap
Undo hub bolt 24mm
Jack up
Remove wheel
Undo both shock bolts 21mm
Seperate hub from ball joint
Follow the shaft undo 2 10mm bolts in the middle of the shaft
The hub should pull forward so the shaft comes out then pull it from the gear box its out well done.

Reverse to fit

Thats how i remove them anyway
