ANOTHER suspension question

I'm overhauling my suspension set up as even though the car actually rides ok, it's now approaching the 60k mark, it's 9 years old and could probably do with a refurb.

I'm ordering 4 new shocks, Eibach Sportline springs, Pure Motorsport top mounts and new drop links and anti-roll bushes.
I've done my own research and believe I've got it all correct.

My question is concerning the rear shocks. ** Will rear cup shocks fit my standard, non-cup packed 182? **

I know the front ones differ but I'm actually struggling to find shocks online that AREN'T cupped and my research tells me that I don't need to care. I just want confirmation! :approve:

While I'm here I may as well throw out the whole list for approval. Please don't be afraid to tell me if I'm wrong!

Eiback Sportlines - http://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuni...ine-springs-renault-clio-mk2-all-exc-1-2.html
Top Mounts - http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=143 (why are K-Tec charging ~£50 more? :S)
Drop Links & Anti-roll Bushes - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-C...o|Cars+Type:2.0+16V+Sport&hash=item4cf2fd5438

A rear arb will be going on there at some point too but that's for another day and I like the fact the PM mounts can be integrated with a strut brace at a later date.

Regarding the Sportlines, there's a guy selling a set in the for sale threads for £80, only done 3k. Which is half what you're looking at ;)

172/182's have different wishbones which means the outer ARB bush is different to the ones you linked to!

EDIT: You want ones that look like this

Just make sure you get the right diameter for your car as shown below ;)

Clio Ph1 2.0 16v RS-172: Outer mount - 22mm, Inner mount - 25mm
Clio Ph2 2.0 16v RS-172: Outer mount - 23mm, Inner mount - 25mm
Clio Ph2 2.0 16v RS-182: Outer mount - 22mm, Inner mount - 25mm
Clio 2.0 16v RS (172 & 182) Cup / Cup pack models: Outer mount - 23mm, Inner mount - 25mm

Would you be able to prod me in the right direction of some that will fit? Sorry to be a pain.

I've got the spoiler cup pack, just whoever spec'd my car up in the beginning didn't bother with the nicer shocks and alloys. :( No matter, I'm fixing that now.

Anyway thanks for your help. I've ordered a few bits now and I'll order the rest after pay day. I also got in contact with the bloke selling the springs and I want them.

Much appreciated Chris and thank you for the fast responses guys.
If we meet, I'll buy you cookies. :)

Genuine bits'll be cheaper through Adam at Wolverhampton Renault, traders section on here.

Oh s**t that is cheap. I feel retarded for not noticing it sooner. Oh well I still need to buy the rear shocks, guess I'll be giving Renault Wolverhampton a ring tomorrow!
I ordered the PM top mounts today too and I'm picking up the springs on Sunday.

Ooooo parts are starting to show up. Arb bushes and drop links have turned up. I think the front shocks are due today as well though I'm not sure as the doorbell has been going all morning. :rasp:

Spoke to Adam at Renault Wolverhampton yesterday afternoon too. Very helpful and fair play on their prices!

I'm picking up those springs on Sunday too. Cheers for the prod in the right direction on that one gents. Money saved on the springs has gone on buying the rear shocks earlier. :approve:
