Annoying whistling noise..

Hey,
got a bit of a nuisance whistling noise coming from the front of my 2004 clio182.. It happens bout 75mph and above, seems to be coming from the centre conole air vents and is very annoying..
Has anyone else suffered this problem out there??

Probably the wiper blades. The wing mirrors do whislte too, not the same area though.

Mate I had exactly the same problem that was caused by the windscreen not being sealed properly, renault (eventually) fixed it by resealing the windscreen. Check to feel if air comes in when you're driving at high speed, or if the noise tends to go when it's raining, that's what happened on mine anyway.

That was my original thread ^^ but the noise was still there after that so i took it back again when they resealed the window, haven't had the problem again since.

I have it too, but it's the blades.. cuz if I turn them on the whistle goes away :f

Windscreen was replaced bout nine months ago, and I've also replaced the wiper blades.. Think a trip back to autowindscreens may be in order.. Cheers folks..

It is the windscreen. I had the same problem. It still happens now and again, but only above 120 mph.

Got my windscreen seal checked, noise still there. Seems def to be wipers as it goes when they are on.. I've got bosch wipers at the moment, anyone else had this problem? If so, how did u sort it...?
