Alarm

Hi this may have been asked before but I'm new to renault I've just bought a 2005 182 is there a way to turn the alarm on off
I've sat in car pressed the key fob and locked the doors waited about a minute and moved about and no alarm is there a cheap fix or is it a trip to dealers mantle thanks in advance

Unplug it from the socket under the glovebox maybe

Cheers all the central locking system works fine but there's no alarm at all I've got the sensors on door pillars and the red led light near gear stick but it doesn't light up and as said in thread I can move about in car but no alarm
