hi please bear with me before the usual 'use the search function' is mentioned. i've had a good look but can't find an exact match to my problem 
lost the blowers on my climate last week, digital display still fine. read up on it, bridged connectors 1 and 5 on the resistor plug and hey presto, the blowers were on full! one new resistor later (£55) and i've just fitted it. plugged it in again etc then jumped in the car, ignition on, adjusted the blow on the climate but still have no blow???
im beginning to think i may not have needed the resistor now? what else is there which could have possibly failed, but still was able to let me bridge 1 and 5 and get the full blow?
