1959 Jaguar XF150 Protection Detail

Hi guys, another slightly different one from me as I don't get to tackle many classics, but this was a great turnaround that I thought might be of interest!


This job was through a recommendation from the owner of the Audi S5 that we recently detailed, the spec was to get it looking it's best in a day, which is always a fun challenge.


A few before's -

Wheels up first, which took around 2 hours to fully clean with 6 different brushes!

Bodywork was pre-soaked in Citrus Power to remove baked on bugs and dirt from it's recent European road trip.

The car was then washed with Auto Finesse Lather, rinsed and dried off.

Wheels sealed with GTechniq C2v3 and tyres with Swissvax Pneu.

Bodywork was pre-cleansed, polished and glazed with Auto Finesse Tripple, followed by Illusion..

Exhausts and chrome trims were polished up with Auto Finesse Mercury.

After 10 hours this was how it looked in the end!

Also worth sharing a picture of the owner's 1939 Bentley, but that's for another day!
