RB 182
I've recently bought a 55 plate 182 and when locking/unlocking, it makes one hell of a loud beep on the alarm speaker. When I'm in a multistory carpark everyone looks at my car when It beeps!
Is there a way of changing the volume or should it be located somewhere deeper in the bulkhead/around padding etc? As far as I'm aware it's OE and not aftermarket. A chap in work suggested soldering a resistor to the speaker or strapping a foam pad to the front of it.
