17s on 1.2 clio

Mate at work has 03 reg clio and has put 17s on but his tyres seem to be rubbing on the suspension when the spring sits, does he need spacers or are 17s to big, not lowered by the way

he just needs spacers. might just need 5 or 10mm

spacers might solve the problem i got 25 all round it just depends on what offset the wheels are

what tyres is he running?

i would of thought 5mm spacers should solve that

i put 20mm spacers on 45 profile tyres to stop this

i think he has these 4x 17 Inch TSW Apex R Silver Alloy Wheels With 205/40/17 Tyres not 100% tho
