172 cup seat/airbag resistor help

Well tried and failed airbag light is still on..... Help....
Anyone near Manchester airport, that could come and help me....

The mot station said cover the symbol up and it's ok lol

If the plug's the same as a Ph1 then that's not the airbag cable..

Those cables are a red herring on a 172 Cup, pretty sure they're for seat airbags which the cup doesn't have.

I spent ages trying to track down my issue, eventually traced it to the squib ring in the steering column, pulled plug from back of column (accessible from top cover without removing wheel) and bridged the wires with a suitable resistor.

Exactly what happened to mine, and did the same fix ;-)
