172 cup performance

  clio 172 cup
Hi guys, just checking if there's any difference in performance between the rare 172 cups that have climate contol, and the 172 cups without.

  B/G 182 + PH1 Track
Well, Removing the Aircon always give a slight gain. and save weight

So Yes there is, the "proper" cup is faster

In the real world you will not notice.

Maybe he likes the colour of the Cup along with the standard wheels, splitter and spoiler but would also like to manage the temperature of the air in his vehicle without having to twist the lil knob himself?

Regarding the op, yes there will be a difference. The car with cc will be slightly slower.

If it has cc, it has ac. But you can have ac without cc (the 182cup and the ph1 172 has this setup).

A/C Probably adds about 15kilos, to the weight of the car. Normal road driving you will not notice the difference. Considering the cost off maintaining a 7 or 8 year old cars a/c system, not worth having imo.

wtf, I don't think many on here have had to do more than re-gas the AC tbh. Well worth having imo.

  RS RIP
Beside the weight ; one more belt ALWAYS running along (even when disengaged) = loss.
yep.

Also; if you live in the South of France, or Italy where these cars are sold frequently , i can understand the NEED for airco. C'mon, up here ??

There's a link on the web somewhere that shows a couple of women picking their favourite Clio Cup...l think it's called '2 Girls 1 Cup'.
