Want to swap my rear beam so looking to get a replacement powder coated then swap over, just wondered if there was a difference between the cup and non cup RS 172?

New a pair of front calipers shot blasted and painted/refurbed any recommendations?

Are there different Cooksport springs for 172, 172 cup, 182 etc or are they all the same? Non Trophy by the way.

Is the standard exhaust fitted to a Cup different to the one fitted to a non Cup 172? i need a new exhaust for my 172 Cup so looking at options.

Not had the car long as its off the road while I work on it over the winter, checking brakes on the offside and noticed the front spring has snapped about 4" from the bottom. I have only driven the car gently (back from where I bought it), so had not noticed. They are Apex 150-40511 VA springs...

Can someone tell me the torque for the big bolt that holds the bottom of the shock to the subframe? Also if there is a specified torque for the smaller 17mm nut at the top. Done a search on here but cant seem to find anything. Thanks Paul

Just picked up a 172 Cup, needs some TLC so a winter project, just posted in garage section looking for a good independent who can sort a couple of things out for me.
