So driving on the motorway today got in 5th gear and there seems to be a high pitched noise coming from the car iv read somwhere that it could be the gearbox that needs replacing just wanted to see what people on here thought it could be ? This is on a clio mk2 1.2 16v thanks

hi guys fitted a backbox yesterday but for some reason the section that slides over the old exhaust keeps sliding round i have u clamped it and put putty on it but still it has moved when i drive 2 mins round the corner any ideas what i can do to stop it ??

no its on coilovers but at the rear its shocks and springs with adjusters and yeh what i think i may have to do is pull it back a little the only thing is the exhaust tail pipe will be sticking out too much for my liking :(

so iv fitting a back box to my car today but when i lowered it off the axle stands it seems to be just touching the rear axle any ideas what i can do to raise it off it without have to get it all off again and maybe bend the pipe more ?

just fitted a back box today and its really loud louder then expected so i think i might have to go to an exhaust specialist to get a silencer box put in behind it lol also its hitting the rear axle a bit should i be worried ??

as titled my car wont start like nothing happens at all if i turn the key all the dash lights come on and off but then nothing when i turn the key to start it help please ??

yeh mate iv never done nothing mechanical before and i managed to fit my own coilovers on so you should be fine

would love a new splitter as well probs a skoda one

iv got them wheels in white mine are stretched too iv got 185/45/15 I think that's a nice stretch.

iv checked the oil and that all good :(
