Hi, Noticed on a set of springs h. s the make printed on spring. Can the the springs be fitted the wrong way,.ie upsidedown. Or does it not matter. Cheers

Hi, Just ordered some Eibach Sportsline springs. Had some a few years back and they had directional arrows stamped on the springs. Does anyone know if the arrow is meant to point up or down. Or do they just all have to be pointing in the same direction. Cheers

Hi, I just bought some Fuchs Titan 5W-40 fully synth for may 172, and Titan Sinofluid SAE 75W- 80 Synthetic for the gearbox. Just checking that they will be ok. Used the engine oil before without any issue but have not changed the gearbox oil before. Cheers.

Seen some secondhand Eibach Sportsline springs. The descrition says fits 182. Will they also fit a 172 cup?

Hi, Can anyone tell be Eibach sportsline sping product code. and will the springs work ok on a 03 cup running 205 tyres rather than the standard 195's. Ie rubbing, turning with fulllock etc. Cheers

I have a 172 cup with a ktec sportscat fitted and a piper panel filter, they with the car. Was thinking of getting a stainless catback exhaust. Has anyone got a powerflow exhaust, and is it anygood. Think they are based at Newcastle. . Thanks

That was my original thoughts. Plus I love the cup. Got the belts and water pump done, new cool pack as well. But it keeps getting an engine light on. Which in turn seems to reduce the power. Feels sluggish and lumpy over 4k. Seems to hesitate. Last time it came on it was the emissions. Caused...

A 197 may be a better option.

Funny old cars really. lol bits of plastic broke off under the bumper and it has a bit more flex on the bumper. the garage said it would cost 150 quid to replace the plastic covers under the engine as it came as complete kit. Grrr was trying to restore the car. But parts and bits are failing or...

It was a sheet of grey foam covered in thin black plastic. Seems odd to place foam and plastic under a hot engine.

Today I spotted some black plastic hanging off my 172 cup. If was hanging under the middle of the engine . I pulled it free, it was the size of a black bag. Foam covered by black plastic. It may have come from the engine guard. It was also covered in grease and oil. Not sure if it was put there...

Including fitting and balance. Cost 122 quid each. Black Circles cost 110 delivered fitted 205/45/16 instead of 195/45/16 to save up for 2 for the rear now. Grrrr

Hi, I was thinking of dropping back to.195 tyres instead of 205. I know 195 tyres are the correct size and sports pilot 3 are 25 quid a corner cheaper. Do you think the 205 tyres make much difference and the extra cost? Cheers.
