A friend had a 172 cup and he said he downloaded some data from online and he managed to get a ( over run map, luntch control ) yeh done all this on his laptop etc..Now does anyone know where and how he done this?

Fuel shot down from quater of a tank to red light in a matter of minutes went to petrol station and put 20 in still on red light tried starting it, it won't start or does for a short amount of time. No leaks have checked anybody know bit stranded at the moment cheers

Excesive tapping coming from top of the engine when its warm. When i look through oil filler cap cams seem quite dry? Oil is just under max on the dip stick!

Ive taken all the bolts and everything off, the only thing left holding the subfame on is where the steering colum meets the rack. This is where im haveing the problems ive taken the nut off and cant split the colum from the rack. help much appriciated thanks

Just wondering if the bonnet hinges on a ph1 are bolted or spot welded?

So for the last five months or so ive been looking for a 172 project of the hope to put it on the track. I decided i wanted to get a ph1, i looked around for a few months and found one just a mile or two down the road :)
