So I'm playing more and more games on my PC at the moment including a hell of a lot of DayZ. My computer sucks its very basic and struggles to run DayZ at low settings even with all the little tweaks etc I can find online that people know about.

I know this isn't clio related but my heater fan has stopped working in my R26. First port of call was to check the fuses in the glove blox which are fine, so then I replaced the resistor pack and it still doesn't work on any speed. It has climate control but even manually overriding...

When I first got my 182, if it was raining and the windows were steaming up I'd hit the demist button on the climate control and the air con would come on and clear the screen. I'd then switch it back to auto on the climate control. If the windows steamed up again I'd repeat the process but...
My cars booked in for mot tomorrow. Just noticed one of the headlight washers isn't working. Is that a fail?
Just curious. I know what it is as I've fixed it before its that crappy plastic bit in the pump has got stuck so it's not alternating the spray iirc.
Am I right in saying that cup packed 182s have a blue and yellow mark on the springs? This is what mine has.
I bought two springs off a member on here, he sold them as cup pack springs yet they have blue and green marks on them and they look longer?
Going to be fitting some new front springs tomorrow. I know the basics, but I'm not sure how tight to do up the nuts on the strut. Iirc there's two? One on the top mount to remove the strut and the other that holds the spring on the strut.
How tight should these be done up? And is it necessary...
So I was driving to work this morning, changed gear and the plastic bit at the bottom of the gaitor popped out. The clips have broken.
Is there any way to remove it? I can't see how you get the top bit off the gearstick?
I'm going to repair it. But it'd be easier off the car.

Is it possible to change the outer cv boot on the passenger side driveshaft? or is it quicker/easier to change the whole shaft?
I just done my lower ball joints and they were a pig, ended up tearing my damn cv boot!
I'm not having much luck here. The two nuts on the lower ball joints undo lovely.
The nut on the pinch bolt came off lovely on both sides.
But I cannot get the pinch bolt out of the hub. Its bloody welded!.
Any tips?.

Just had my MOT turns out my knocking noise and tyre wear is a worn lower ball joint and not the track rods. Which makes it easier and cheaper for me :D
Is it possible to get ones that fit straight on?.
I've got my MOT next week and I've got a feeling the inner track rods are shot.
Would a 32mm crows foot spanner do the job of removing the inner track rods?. I know Renault have a special tool but I can't warrant buying it for a one off job.

I'm a bit confused. From what I can gather a 182 should be set to 12 degrees toe out according to the f4r PDF and the figures Edde has posted in the guides section.
Is this correct? Every time my alignment gets done they set it to 12 degrees toe in.
I always thought toe had to be slightly in...
I think I might need some track rods. Are the ones from eurocarparts the right ones for a 182 with cup packs?.

I've got a little issue thats starting to get annoying.
When I pull away in first I get a thud that feels like its going through the whole car when I release the clutch, and it does it when I change into second and third. Not so much in the higher gears.
I'm sure it hasn't always been like it...
