    also on ITB's you dont need the VCT, as you wont get adverse pulse effects with wild cams and bodies.. putting some pullies on also reduces alot or rotating mass from the cams.

    421's are fairly mild. high power engines tend to use 422's give a strong kick at 5k revs..

    nice one Fred..... the number of people who dont torque plugs is unbelieveable the tightness can affect the heat dispacment and this slightly effect plug cooling... also makes sure you get a good earth and a good seal Andy

    200% better than standard... its a totally stock engine internally The ITB's and standalone ECU make all the difference YES IT WAS WELL WORTH IT....

    Bought for £800 CAT C, light damage repaired fully serviced (and some!) New brakes (Mintex 1144, KTR Lines, Brembo discs) GDI Throttle body kit, 204bhp and 160 lb ft.... on std engine with std cat... AST Dampers fitted.... GREAT PROJECT......... and NOW!

    172 ITB car is in fast road trim.. 204bhp, AST coilovers, R888's.. so should be a good session

    550 seems a bit high 2.4 makes about 210 bhp in NA form. it would depend on how much boost the rotex is running and then of course how much the internals could take...

    torque figures are massivly affected by RPM vs Power reading as they are calculated figures, if the RPM reading is 100 rpm off (for eg) then the torque figure can be different I suspect RS tuning take the RPM from a direct Tacho feed and therefore is 100% acutate powerstation use road speed...
