I did a bit more looking the part number off the turbo is the same as a 225! So it must be just not tuned up as much . Ive it up for breaking God knows how long it will take to shift

Not the prettiest.... Never even seen one before a friend rang me about it. Is the block the same as 225? Just different turbo and pistons??

Hi folks! Haven't posted in a while... Just bought a vel satis 2.0 petrol turbo like 20 min ago... Is there much value in breaking it? Anything the same engine/gearbox(6 speed) wise compared to 225's or 197's?? Cheers :)

Currently got a wd media player(plays avi,mpeg....not mkv though..) Most new files are mkv though.... So it'd be easier just to upgrade my media player.. :) Anybody bought one recently? (I've 2.....1tb hdds and a fat tv) Don't need wifi etc, Thanks

When you say brakes.....you mean the discs?? I only ever heard the rear caliper's are the same(not sure about carriers...) What size are the discs? 172's are 238mm

Any recommendations for 14" alloys for a 07 kangoo?(mk1 ph2) I'd prefer to stick to renault alloys tbh, Pictures if ye have them :smile: I have 15" Williams and 15" 19 turbines... But would they slow it down/ wreck the ride? It's only 55bhp iirc Thanks :smile:

Mostly :) 2x3mm washers for where the calipers meets the hub, 15mm wheel spacer(10mm or 13mm might work)

172 springs are the same as Williams springs :) so they'll fit mk1 shocks. few people have out mk2 172 shocks on mk1's, Think it needs a few washers extra on it or something, have a look on the c16valver site :) thats where i seen it

Hi folks, just bought a 1998 kangoo van 1.9 non turbo.... For €150 last night :-) my first diesel and van :) (55bhp iirc) I took off the airbox to see was the inlet all crap and it was from the egr! so can I blank it without any warnings? the car is on 191,000 Would I need to cut the pipe...

Two types of jc5 gearboxes, one with a speedo hole, one with it blanked off. just get the speedo version and you're laughing :) Any box off a ph1 diesel should be speedo, and should fit without being jc5! not sure when the dti engine's came out(not up on diesels)

I'd wait another month for the springs to ..... Settle, drive around with something heavy in the boot for a bit :-)

Pump is behind the battery, you should see brake lines going into it :)

Afaik....(Brembo app off the AppStore) the 2.0 petrol,2.0 d4d, 2.0 vti,2.4 all have 55mm centre hole. the 2.2 d4d, 2.2 D-cat have 62mm centre hole. This one says, 55mm diameter...

Everywhere I've read the centre bore should be 55mm on the mk2 toyota disc...? Unless jamsport drilled them too big?

Emailed about these and there actually 5x100, The 4x100 was a mistake. How safe would it be to buy them and redrill them 4x100 for the clio??

Get a big socket at one end(30/32mm etc) get a smaller socket and put in at the other side. put the dog mount in the middle and place it in the vice. start squeezing the vice. done ;-)
