Havent posted on here in a while but just wondering if anyone can help.
I have a 2003 172 and the break lights seem to be stuck on. Has anyone had this befor or that knows what the problem could be?
as title....all lights up, display still working but no fan?
anyone know where the fuse is for it or if it could be anything more serious?

Does anyone know of any good, quiet, stainless back box's on the market for a 172 ph2? preferably a single bore and reasonably cheap!
My friend has an ALFA 156. She put the windscreen wipers on while the windscreen was frozen and now they only work on full and not on intermittent or normal. Any ideas from anyone?
My 172's mot runs out next month so i took it in today and its failed on some small bits and bobs as follows:
left track rod end
rear brake pads
hazard light switch not working (which i knew about)
rear number plate light not working

As Title says. it came on this morning after about a mile then again on the way home it came on again!

Just been to wash my car at a local Morrison's and some dirty little s**t had dipped the brush in tar! I normally always check the brush for stones but this time i never and went to use it. Now i have a strip of tar about a foot wide and 2 foot long on the drivers side door!!! FUMING

Reading about Camber Bolts on here and i just wanted to know about them if someone would fill me in.
Where are they located(pic's would be a massive help), and how long/short do they need to be to add to the ideal Camber for better cornering?

What removing and refitting lower inlet, do i need to jack the engine up? And if so where is the best place to do it as i really don't want to crack my sump!
I had a wee blast in the 172 on my way home from work tonight and when i pulled up outside my house, turned the engine off and got out i could here a noise. It sounded like there was a big hole in my tyre and it was coming from under the car. Any ideas anyone? I'm hoping its not a shocker
What do i need for the job. Not had a look at it yet, just wanted to know how easy it is, any tips and if i need any special tools for the job?

OK, I'm thinking about matching the inlets on my 172. I'm an engineer and have access to CNC millers, die grinders and everything needed to do the job. Has anyone on here done this before and is it really worth the work?
I ran out of washer fluid today so tried to fill it back up but there seems to be a hole in it as most of the 2lt flooded out through the wheel arch.
How the hell can a hole appear in it?
Does anyone know how to fix/replace it and whether its a big job? Do you get at it through the passenger...
How do folks, just wondered if there is any mechanics that know about 172's fancy having a wee look at my car as there are a few things im not happy about with it IE: engine and gears, and i want them diagnosed. Thought id try on here first.

Its when I'm setting off from a standstill i can hear a creaking. It only happens in the winter for some reason because it happened last year and stopped when the warm weather came. Anyone got any ideas??
When i got into my car this morning it was -13!! The car was frozen from the inside and iv never felt it so cold. It took a good 5 mile of slow driving to warm the engine up. I was just wondering if this extreme cold weather can damage me engine in any way??
