Hi,Not sure what this is about - whenever I go a bit 3 wheely round very long tight corners (this one is actually J7 of the M56 where I join it each morning) my stop light and handbrake light flicker and then stay on until I'm going in a straight line again..I'm sure its probably something and...
got to admit, I don't like racing blue on the 197's at all.
would have to be black for me, although I saw an R27 in racing blue that looked ok, I think its the white bits on these ones posted that do them no favours at all - works on the 182 but not sure it does on the 197, car looks too big
Its a good enough excuse for them, but I'm not sure how the research could possibly take them 6 hours.
I'm sure its always the same when they are dealing with insurance companies - get more money out of them, which is fine, but the insurance company don't pay them :(
No idea - just got the french dictionary out - and the bit I couldn't translate myself says "research of short circuit, and repairs to wiring"
what wiring could this be? surely not the wire between the two sensors on my de-cat (it's supposedly related to the sensors)
I thought 6 hours was a "little" excessive.. not easy to argue with a French mechanic though!
Letter to Renault time I suppose, I've got their receipt that lists the costs etc, €105 for the sensors seems about right, just not the 6 hours labour! I'll see what happens.
To be fair, it could...
Hi,
Just a quick question for anyone in the know - how many hours is it supposed to take to fit a new lambda sensor to a 182?
I've just been back to France to collect mine after I broke down on holiday recently, just want to check if I've been ripped off or not with labour.
thanks
you'll have to claim back for the cost at best, I highly doubt they'll pay for the repairs first hand - my friend ran over a rock on the motorway from the roadworks, he had to pay for his car fixing and eventually, 8 months later, amec paid out - and amec are a huge company who wouldn't be too...
yours was the private plate one with stripes wasn't it? I remember you getting the black R27 not long ago.. saw you a couple of times round ashley on the lanes :)
I live in Leeds city centre, but my parents are in Hale, I kind of mingle between the two houses!
Mines been doing Leeds - Hexham for the past 2 weeks, its most impressive, will get a pic later :)
mileage ftw.. maybe until its time to sell! mines on 77k now - 40k in the 9 months I've owned it! getting replaced soon (but I'm keeping the 182 becuase I love it too much to sell it for the crap...
Were you in your car? don't think I saw you - I was getting irritated by traffic by that point though!
The guns are going as soon as I get a chance, it keeps getting put to the back of my to-do list because I keep forgetting :p
I live in the city center, but I work all over the place - was just checking a job I did in Ilkley that morning..
Yeah, if the roads weren't so slippy it would have been better, mine was spinning into 2nd!
Who was it, good fun little play until the traffic came :)
Just replaced my exalto's with eagle F1's - starting to regret that, it doesnt like going round corners as much anymore :( I had no chance of going over the roundabout at the rate you did!
Car looked amazing, which is more than can...
182 replica exhaust - ie, magnex 182 system replica.. lets make an exhaust, f**k it being straight, people will buy it.
so glad mine came on the car and I didn't have to pay for it
exactly what happened to mine - except mine broke in around 4 miles, and don't I just love shelling out over 2k for replacement engine, fitting, new clutch etc for the sake of it - when I'm going to now get f**k all when its time to sell :(
the back lights dont look too bad, I'd probably leave them on - definately change the bumper as everyone else has said ;)
surely it wont be the easiest car to sell quickly as its a stop gap car.. but then thats just me being sensible (and if it was me making the choices for myself, they...
lovely :)
I do think the ultra red is nicer than racing blue on the 197's too - although the R27 I saw in racing blue looks great because of the anthracite wheels and the roof decals to break it up a bit
did you get the recaro's with this one?
I've also driven nearly 40 miles on the motorway with my light on.. I did start to get a bit worried after about 10 though!
My saab's trip computer shows how much petrol you have to the last mile, I've had that show 4 miles once! I really should stop being too lazy to stop at the closest...
I almost bought an inferno, its just when they are in dull light they don't do it for me.. look stunning when its sunny though :)
I'm going to say racing blue, because I have to.. but I do like black gold a lot too
not got any decent enough pics on this computer of mine, there are enough...
