Bit of a long shot and probably completely wrong section. My old man is trying to find a honda vtec engined classic mini. Either b16, 18 or K20.
He's been looking for ages, looked at ebay, PH etc with no joy. Anyone know of any for sale? Thanks
I am at a bit of a loss for what car to go to next and was looking for some advice. My recent car history has been Milano Integra DC5, BMW 135i and Championship White Integra DC5. I enjoy an involving drive, but second baby will be arriving soon so the new car has to be comfortable, safe and...
I dont often get the chance to clean the teg. But weather conditions were perfect today, so got down to it.
Shes completely standard, apart from painted wheels and wind deflectors.
Not sure if anyone remembers me or my old DC5 on here, but i had a CW one which i modified quite a bit, plate was T9 TEG. I sold it when i first came over to Australia and since then ive had a string of fairly boring cars, Toyota Hilux, BMW 135i and a Mazda 3 SP23.
Well ive finally found a...
I sold my Hilux this weekend as it was depressingly slow, noisy and was no good for long journeys. We drive down to Brisbane quite a bit and 7 hrs in a 16 years old Hilux was tiring.
Wanted to replace it with something a bit more comfortable, maybe a newer Hilux or a Navara but just cant...
Hi, not sure if anyone's interested, its a slow diesel, but thought id make a project thread for my Hilux.
I sold the 135i as it just wasn't my thing, was alright to cruise around in when the sun was out but I'm not a BMW fan and the running costs were stupid.
So today i collected my new...
So I've been car-less for over two years now, sold my DC5 back in Dec '09, and now i'm reasonably settled i thought id get back behind the wheel again.
My uncle has wanted to sell his BMW for a while, hadn't had a huge amount of interest, so he offered it to me at a price i couldn't refuse. Its...
Loved this game when it came out years ago on the Playstation. Me and my house mates used to stay up all night smoking and racking up sick scores. Don't remember exactly but I got single trick scores into the millions.
Anyway, TH2 on the iPhone is not on the same level but still good...
A few cars that i snapped whilst away, nothing special some nice and some not so.
Our transport:

The vietnamese will load anything onto a bike...
Love the look on this old birds face.....
This is my dads B16'd Mini Clubman.
He sourced the shell, engine, running gear, interior etc and got a local place to put it together.
Since these pics he's had the sunroof removed and the roof reskinned.
It's great fun and quite practical, not bad for a 59 year olds weekend toy :D...
Just getting my car ready for sale and got a bit nostalgic.
The chap buying my teg told me he'd seen my car in a meet video on youtube from last year, so just had a look.
Thought it was worth posting up...
So, im leaving blighty early next year and it looks like i'll probably have to sell my DC5. Seems silly for it to sit in a garage for years to come and i'll probably lose a fair bit on it.
Ive sold my Volk CE28n's, and tbh i prefer the standard wheels. The rest of the mods will go in due course...
Ive seen this driving about, it's so beautiful :D
Anyone know whether its priced well? Seems quite a lot for a '91, although its done no miles at all.
Someone buy my DC5.

Nothing really that intersting but this will probably be the last mods i do on the Teg.
So i picked up a second hand Kpro and Spoon 4-1 manifold with decat a few days ago
Booked myself in at Artech today for fitting and remap, really good service and Romain really knows what he's doing...
The bolster on my drivers seat was shagged from getting in and out so i ordered new ones from Capital seating.
Im useless at car maintenance and tend not to do it, but i saw a 'how to' on itr-dc5 so i had a go.
Took the seat out and apart
Cleaned the bolster cover and after 20...
I went down to Hayes Engineering on saturday to put the Teg on the rollers. It's not something i was planning on doing (scared of the results) but a couple of lads from Itr-dc5 organised something just down the road from me, so.
The other Teg in the pictures was running the following mods...
Made a few additions to the teg over the last couple of weeks and got an RBC inlet manifold fitted today.
I'll have to wait till i get Kpro to see the real gains, meant to be around 10-15bhp, but at the moment the car seems much more responsive, a bit noisier and pulls fairly well.
Heres...
Im taking part in this next year with an old mate from Uni.

We have a 4X4 and thats about it.
Anyone else taken part in this and have any experiences to share?
