Hi Guys,
I'm not sure what to look for to get a replacement part. I was changing my gear stick gaiter and the 'mount' that the gaiter is stapled into, that clips into the trim to keep the gaiter in place has broken one of the clips off it.
Anyone know what this part is called or where I can get...
@Amos91 thanks for the reply, all good now - just removed the whole thing, it was pretty badly cracked / torn so it would have been more work to try and secure the thing!
Have removed the torn inner wheel arch, and I see some cables and parts behind the cover.
It was too torn/ broken to re-fit with new clips.
It obviously had a purpose; to protect these parts, but what do you guys think about leaving this off permanently? Is the cover protecting these parts from...
Ja £12's a bit of an ask. I too may go the old cable tie route, especially if theres no real 'official' method to secure it back to the bumper - I Think your method will probably suffice!
Ah excellent, I won't worry about that one then.
I don't suppose anyone has a photo of the clip I should be looking for and or how it connects the lower arch liner to the bumper?
Granted, I could look at the other side to see how that fits, but am stuck at work all week and want to get a head...
Ah great
There's a black plastic cable-tie looking thing that's also hanging loose..
Not really sure what it is but based on your description I wonder if this is the tie/clip to hold it in place..

Hi guys
My underside engine plate (I think that's what it's called) is loose and dragging on the road while driving.
I'm not sure how these are supposed to fit in place, perhaps a bolt or two is missing.
Could anyone advise if this has happened to them and / or how to repair?
Thanks much!
Thats the one I did manage to find. Was hoping to find something a bit more local and a bit cheaper to get my feet wet first
Edit: and this one http://www.ovalballrun.com/
Thanks for the reply @mark123 - how are you defining my "local car club?"
I'm not sure I'm looking in the right places to find these things. Maybe I have to find a local car club to me (Greenwich) first? It's not something I would see a lot of postings about on here then?
Thanks again!
Hey guys,
Does anyone know of any targa races or gumball races that allow non-pro drivers and their cars to enter?
I grew up watching things like Targa New Zealand and Targa Tasmania which were great, really would love to see about taking part in one.
Thanks in advance
Right you are - just fiddled with it and found out I may just need to attempt to remove the whole rear bench.
What is really bothering me, is that I cannot actually locate the zip without removing the bench, it seems. Zip appears to be in the bottom left corner, but the zip is either tucked back...
@DaveDreads @Brooky182 ja, I think I might try both your ideas at once..
Edit @DaveDreads any idea if its possible to remove just that section of the rear seats, so that its easier to get access to the zip and re-arrange the cover?
And/Or does anyone know if its possible to remove just this part of the rear seat? Or must the whole bench come out after unbolting it from the Isofix bar?
Hey guys,
Has anyone ever seen this issue? The smaller section of my folding rear seats in my 182 are wrinkled. I checked it over and it doesn't look like the seat cover isn't on straight, really odd issue. Photos attached, ignore the stains - thats dog drool!
Interested if anyone has seen this...
